GoHighLevel sells you the tools to build a marketing system. KBD sells you the system, already built from your own material. HighLevel is broader, cheaper on the sticker, far more mature and has an ecosystem KBD does not. KBD’s only real claim is what is on the screen the first time you log in.

What is GoHighLevel, and what does it do well?

GoHighLevel is an all-in-one marketing and CRM platform sold mainly to agencies, who run their clients as sub-accounts inside it. Its structural insight is that the buyer and the user are different people, and the buyer is the agency.

Core features

CRM and pipelines, funnel and website building, email and SMS, calendars and booking, call tracking and voice, reputation and reviews, courses and memberships, payments, reporting, and a workflow automation builder that ties them together. Plus the two things no competitor here has: a two-sided app marketplace and a snapshot economy for sharing or selling whole pre-built account configurations.

GoHighLevel pricing — Starter $97 per month

Three sub-accounts and the full feature set, with no usage rebilling. Practically, one business or an agency’s first three clients.

GoHighLevel pricing — Unlimited $297 per month

Unlimited sub-accounts and the ability to rebill usage to clients at cost. The first tier that functions as an agency.

GoHighLevel pricing — Agency Pro $497 per month

Resell HighLevel as your own software and rebill usage with a markup. This is the tier the whole business model funnels you toward, and for an agency it is a genuinely good deal.

Positives of GoHighLevel

Ordered by how hard each one would be for anyone to catch up on

  1. The workflow builder is the best in this category. Not close. If you enjoy building automations and you want conditional branching, waits, and triggers on everything, this is the product for it.
  2. The marketplace. Over a thousand third-party apps and an economy of pre-built snapshots. Nobody else has built a two-sided market here and it is not cheap to copy.
  3. Breadth. Call tracking, review management, SMS, calendars, memberships and payments in one account is genuinely a lot for the money.
  4. The white-label economics. One fixed platform fee, many clients, usage rebilled with a markup. For an agency, that is a business model, not a discount.
  5. Maturity. Shipping since 2018, at enormous scale, with a community that has already answered most questions you will have.

What could be better about GoHighLevel

Ordered by how often it is the reason someone leaves

  1. The build is still yours. Every funnel, workflow, pipeline and email gets made by you or by someone you pay. That is the whole of this page’s argument and it is not a flaw in the software — it is what the software is.
  2. The subscription is not the bill. Their own pricing page states that phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI are charged separately, and it does not publish those rates on that page.
  3. Per-sub-account add-on pricing. The AI Employee is priced per sub-account at $50 or $97 a month. Fine at one; painful at fifteen.
  4. Day-one overwhelm. Twenty-odd tool categories opening at once, with the official education behind a login and aimed at agencies.
  5. The solo owner is not the customer. Their paying customer is the agency; the business is a sub-account. You can feel that in the product, and it is nobody’s fault.

What is KBD, and what does it do well?

KBD is a marketing system that learns your business once and then writes and runs the content, funnel, emails, offer, checkout and follow-up from it. You approve rather than build.

Core features

Attraction content and hooks in your own voice, landing and sales pages, funnels, email broadcasts and sequences, behavioural automations, a CRM with tags and contact timelines, offer design and pricing, launches, course and member-area delivery, and checkout with subscription billing. White-label and multi-tenant, so an agency can run many brands from one place.

Underneath those sit three things that are the actual difference: a set of wired plays for each asset, distilled from programs and coaching rooms where these launches worked; a two-layer capture of your own brand — a required foundation and a deeper optional layer; and a retrieval library of distilled program material and real coaching-call transcripts that the system draws on when writing for your specific situation.

KBD pricing

Four plans, one flat price each, billed monthly or annually. Everything is included on every plan — pages, funnels, email, automations, CRM, courses, checkout and the AI that writes it all. The plans differ by how large you are and how many businesses you run. There is no credit system, no prepaid wallet, no auto-recharge and no per-message fee; extra capacity is bought deliberately and is never applied for you.

Why the numbers are not on this page

KBD’s prices live on the pricing page and are deliberately not repeated here. A comparison page that hardcodes a price starts lying the day the price changes, and this one is meant to still be accurate in two years.

Positives of KBD

Ordered by how much difference each one makes in the first month

  1. It arrives with something in it. The first screen is a draft of your material, not an empty field. That is the entire reason the product exists.
  2. It is grounded in your business, not a template. The system captures your customer, your transformation, how you help, how you are different and how you talk before it writes anything, so the output is yours rather than a shape everyone else also received.
  3. Flat billing. No wallet, no credits, no per-message metering on core features. The number you agree to is the number that arrives.
  4. Built for the business, not the agency reselling to it. One person with one offer is the design centre, not an edge case.
  5. The structures are the product. A feature list can be copied in a quarter. What each asset has to accomplish, in what order, grounded per brand, is a different kind of asset.

What could be better about KBD

This is the part most comparison pages fake. Here is the real list, and it is the reason the first group is deliberately small.

Ordered by how likely each one is to be a dealbreaker for you

  1. It is pre-launch. No public free trial, and a young product with the rough edges a young product has.
  2. No proof wall. No customer logos, no case studies, no testimonials — because there are no customers yet, and inventing them is not on the table. If you need to see somebody else’s results first, that is a reasonable thing to need and KBD cannot supply it.
  3. Far fewer integrations. A short list of deep native connections against HighLevel’s thousand-plus marketplace. If your workflow depends on a specific app, check first.
  4. No ecosystem. No marketplace, no snapshot economy, no army of contractors who already know it, no library of community tutorials.
  5. Shallower automation. HighLevel’s workflow builder is more capable and will stay more capable for a while.
  6. Higher sticker price. Against $97 it is more expensive, and against a free Systeme.io plan it is much more expensive.

What are the real differences between KBD and GoHighLevel?

Six, and only the first one is really a difference. The rest are consequences of it.

Ordered by how much each one should affect your decision

  1. What arrives on day one. HighLevel gives you a complete toolset and an empty account. KBD gives you drafts of your own material and the job of approving them. Every other difference on this list follows from that one.
  2. Who the customer is. HighLevel’s paying customer is an agency and the business is a sub-account inside it — which is why the education, the dashboard and the pricing all assume you are managing several clients. KBD’s customer is the business.
  3. How it bills. HighLevel separates subscription from usage, which is honest and makes your bill move. KBD bills flat on core features, which is simpler and means you pay for headroom you may not use. Both models have a real cost; pick the one whose failure mode you can live with.
  4. What the AI does. HighLevel’s AI staffs a business — it answers calls and replies to chats, and it is good at that. KBD’s AI builds one: it writes the offer, the page, the sequence. Neither replaces the other, and the words “AI-powered” on both websites mean genuinely different things.
  5. Breadth against depth of a narrower job. HighLevel does more things. KBD does fewer things and does the thinking part of them. If you need call tracking and review management, that is a real reason to choose HighLevel today.
  6. Maturity against fit. One has seven years of shipping and an ecosystem. The other is new and built for exactly one person. That is a trade you should make consciously.

Which should you choose?

Choose GoHighLevel if you are an agency, if you need breadth, or if your constraint is budget. Choose KBD if you already own tools like these and the thing stopping you is the blank page.

Pick GoHighLevel if

Ordered by how clear-cut the case is

  1. You run an agency and the white-label resale economics are the point.
  2. You need SMS, voice or call tracking at volume, and metered telecom is fine.
  3. You have already built inside it and it works — the setup cost is sunk.
  4. You or someone on your team already knows it well.
  5. Your workflow depends on a specific marketplace app.
  6. Your genuine constraint is money rather than hours, and $97 against a higher flat price is the whole decision.

Pick KBD if

Ordered by how clear-cut the case is

  1. You have bought a platform like this before and it is sitting there half-finished.
  2. You are excellent at something that is not marketing, and you would like to keep it that way.
  3. You are already paying someone to operate software you also pay for, and you would rather that were one thing.
  4. You want the bill to be the bill.
  5. You are an agency whose pitch is the quality of what each client account contains, rather than the margin on reselling seats.

Pick neither if

You do not have an offer yet. Sell the thing by hand to five people first. Neither product — nor any product in this category — fixes a business that has not yet proved somebody wants what it sells, and both will cost you money finding that out slowly.

How this comparison was made, and what it does not include

Every GoHighLevel figure on this page was read off gohighlevel.com/pricing on 6 August 2026, and nothing on this page is an affiliate link. Where HighLevel does not publish a number — the usage rates — this page says so rather than modelling one.

What it does not include: any customer result, from either product. KBD has no customers yet, so it has none to report, and reporting HighLevel’s would be reporting somebody else’s business rather than their software. There are no scores and no star ratings on this page for the same reason — a score would be an opinion presented as a measurement.

One thing you can check for yourself: this page, the site around it and the emails behind its form were produced by the product being compared. GoHighLevel cannot say that about theirs, and that is not a criticism — it is just the one piece of evidence available to a company with no customers yet.

Questions people actually ask

Why not just get GoHighLevel for $97?

Because $97 buys the tools and not the work, and the work is where the months go. It is also rarely $97: HighLevel's own pricing page states that phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI are billed on top, and the AI Employee add-on is priced per sub-account. If your constraint is genuinely budget rather than time, GoHighLevel or Systeme.io is the right answer and you should take it.

Is KBD a GoHighLevel white-label?

No. It is not built on HighLevel and it is not a reskin of it. Different product, different architecture, different idea about what you are buying.

Does KBD have as many integrations as GoHighLevel?

No, and it will not this year. HighLevel has a two-sided app marketplace with over a thousand listings; KBD has a short list of deep native connections. If your workflow depends on a specific third-party app, check before anything else.

Which is better for an agency?

GoHighLevel, in most cases today. Its white-label resale model, its snapshot economy and its usage-rebilling mechanics are mature and profitable, and nothing about KBD's newness helps an agency that needs to onboard fifteen clients this quarter. KBD is white-label and multi-tenant, and the reason to look at it is what each client account arrives already containing — not resale mechanics.

Can I use both?

Yes, and some people should. Keep HighLevel as the operational layer if it is working — pipelines, SMS, calendars — and use KBD for what actually gets written. It is more accounts than anyone wants, but it beats rebuilding a working system to prove a point.

What happens to my funnels if I move?

They do not move. No platform in this category exports funnels, workflows or email templates in a format another one reads, so they get rebuilt. Contacts, tags and custom fields move by CSV. There is a full guide to what survives and what does not.

Is KBD cheaper than GoHighLevel?

On the sticker, no. The comparison that means something is HighLevel plus whatever you currently pay to get the work done — a contractor, an agency retainer, or your own evenings. Against that, the comparison changes; against $97 alone, it does not.
